Forrest Fest is pleased to welcome . . .

The Coyote Poets of the Universe.

About Coyote Poets of the Universe We come from the Land of Square Shaped States! Got silver spurs on inline skates Pork and Beans on paper plates Songdog tribe with Coyote traits hear our song this music awaits Out in the Land of Square Shaped States. not given to argue or lame debates where Coyote Poets meet their fates Out in the land of square shaped states aroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! HOWDY! We live in Colorado This is a paradise and our fellow musicians here are awesome incredable people and players. If you live here you know about them. If you don't we strongly urge you to seek them out on myspace and listen... We are proud of our fellow bands from here! Coyote Poets of the Universe was originally a three piece band and a computer. Gary 7, Andy O'BLivion and Coyote Bill founded the band to make music and poetry for the radio show called JazzTales (heard on KUVO.org) and were visited under the stars by COYOTE the trickster disguised as a coyote. He spoke to the trio through hallucinations (probably a peyote sacrilidge) We aren't allowed to repeat the subsequent conversation (it's probably a tall tale anyway) but the Coyote Poets of the Universe soon became a tribe more than a band. Once a Coyote always a Coyote... We have had an amazing assortment of men and women join us...we are duly proud of them and their contributions. We are about purity of intent and not about profit margins and demograpics. Not to sound arrogant we really feel this music and our fellowship and when we perform we urge you to join us... BE COYOTE!!! We love you madly and bring you our 21st century tribal music and poetry. Come on out and see us or be our myspace friend. MANY BLESSINGS! UNITY IN DIVERSITY
