April 25th and 26th, 2008. Open Mic, workshops, drumming, food and fun the last weekend in April at Forrest Park in La Mesa, the windiest little city on the South Plains of West Texas. International poets and musicians gather to celebrate, improvisate, re-create, the written and spoken word, joined by folk, celtic, jazz and rockabilly country musicians.
